Worship Service at Messiah
We describe our worship on Sunday morning as “Biblical Content In Contemporary Form.” We cherish God’s Word and seek to reflect our faithfulness to God throughout the entire worship service. Consequently, we have certain elements that appear every week, such as Confession and Forgiveness, the Reading of God’s Word, the celebration of Holy Communion, a Creedal form (spoken or sung), and a Message. Our music and style is Contemporary with a full band and praise team. We also enjoy mixing in some traditional hymns that are played and sung in a contemporary form.

Come as you are.
We are a “Come-as-you-are” congregation. Some people wear jeans and shorts, while others dress more formally. Like going to a restaurant, you will find people dressed in a variety of styles. The main thing, though, is to come with a heart that is open and expecting God to do a life-changing work in and through you.
*Please note that the word “worship” actually has a much wider meaning that applies to every part of life, not just what happens for an hour on Sunday morning. In other words, Biblical worship means “to serve God with your whole life.” We look at everything that we do, both inside and outside of Sunday morning, as an act of worship. Sunday is an opportunity for us to obey God’s command to gather together so that we can receive renewal and restoration from God, and to learn how to respond to God’s love by giving back to Him our whole life.
